Flavoured salts are big business, and growing year on year. But most existing brands lean heavily on function or heritage: great if you know exactly what you’re after, less effective if you're a curious foodie seeking something fresh to spice up your dinner plans.
This gap in the market inspired Salted to take a different approach with their unique blends for everyday cooks. From unexpected pairings like Nori & Pickled Plum and Grapefruit, Ginger & Beetroot, these flavour-packed salts are all about doing more with less, ideal for busy millennials looking for effortless ways to level-up home cooking.
We created a brand identity to match this unapologetic approach: cutting-edge and full of personality. Neon colours bring energy and shelf appeal, while a bold custom wordmark balances substance with style. A suite of stylish vector patterns inspired by trends in fashion and interior design adds a premium twist with lifestyle crossover appeal.
Designed with young adults in mind, the Salted brand looks just as good on a kitchen shelf as it does on an Instagram feed. We supported the full launch – from product photography to 3D renders and manufacturer sourcing – helping build the brand across every touchpoint.
Each product in the range went on to win individual Great Taste Awards, confirming what we already knew. Bold flavour and bold branding is a winning recipe.
